I’m officially in, I guess. I signed up for a long hauler pass at the above website. Some random organization charged my credit card, but I never got any kind of confirmation, so…whatever?
I mentioned the tour to my buddy Tom in hopes that he might care to serve as co-pilot. He was tremendously stoked, but is also notoriously unreliable. Status: to be determined. As a side note, he’s an MD, so we’d have our own Team Amalgamated physician.
My car is at paint/body now and the shop has promised the frame back to me by the end of this month. There is an awful lot left to do. Jim says I’ll be ready. I don’t know if I share his positivity.
